BNGO has used the money raised a few months ago to expand and sell their Saphyr system worldwide, in south Africa, Europe, the UK, the US and more.
Bionano Genomics are also working on not just selling the system to government researchers, but also to healthcare companies, these companies are likely to purchase more than just 1 machine for research purposes and are more likely to purchase a number of machines.
The analyst compared BNGO, which analyses genomes on a large scale, to another competitor which was founded much earlier, and dominated the market for a number of years, but only analysing genomes on a small scal
