Bomberman normally got 50 levels, but it also got a password system that allows you to start on a level beyond that number. Since it collect the level data from the wrong place, strange things can happen. Powerups can look like a piece of explosion or a dead character, and the whole game can crash (most likely from trying to load an enemy from the wrong place), sending you back to the title screen.
This password puts you on level... strange symbol 1... I will call it X1...
23 levels before it decided to crash on me.
