Bomberman World: Planet Black Area 5 (God-Header Final Boss & Ending)
13After Bomberman defeats Burglar in Area 5-4 of Planet Black, Burglar retreats while also leaving behind his Rock-On Armor for Bomberman to chase him with.
As the fight with Burglar counts as a Dark Force Bomber battle, you're automatically taken straight to Area 5-5 after you finish 5-4. This is the very last level of Normal Mode.
Meeting up with Burglar again, he summons his own superweapon to defeat you: The God-Header.
"THE DARK POWER IS INVINCIBLE. GIVE UP, BOMBERMAN!"
To beat the God-Header, you must blast its feet with your bombs. However, it will keep moving around to keep its feet away from your blast radius and will also use its head to eat them before they can blow up. This thing even taunts you by burping afterwards! That jerk!
It will also stop to shoot at you with eye lasers, and it shoots at the exact spot you were at the very moment it starts its aim, so its much easier to dodge than you think.
Luckily, if you still have the Remote Bomb at this point, you can circumvent some of this boss' behavior a little bit. So blast its feet to beat it, and complete the game.
R-Right...?

WRONG! That was just a warmup! After beating the God-Header, it separates its head from its four-legged body and mergers with a bigger, bulkier new body that form from a black hole. This is the true final boss of the whole game, and a very difficult one at that.
You can't just attack him head-on with your bombs. To beat him, you must blast the 4 green-and-white UFOs that swirl around his body. As you damage them, they turn from green, to yellow, to red, and then turn almost completely black, meaning they're destroyed. Destroy all of them to finally end the God-Header and Burglar reign of terror.
But don't think they'll just go ahead and let you do that with a fight. The God-Header can still grab your bombs, and this time transform form them into a fist-pounding 3-way fire wave that expands outward as it goes.
However, the most annoying part of this final boss by far is the pair of lasers that shoot out from both sides of the field. It takes to bomb blasts to destroy each of them, but they always come back in a few seconds afterwards.
Beating the True God-Header involves destroying those UFOs while also making not to get overwhelmed by the side-lasers. If you can manage to survive through all of this, you will finally beat Burglar once and for all.
"THE DARK POWER WILL NEVER DIE! I SHALL RETURN!"

The White Bomber escape from the exploding Planet Black on his spaceship, and returns to his home planent, where he is greeted by all of the other Bombermen there and is worshiped as their hero.
Indeed, the White Bomber is a hero. The Hero of Bomberman World.
During the following credits, a medley plays of all 5 of the worlds Bomberman went through in Normal Mode, with the credits being brought in and out with the other regular Bombermen and also the Bombers that only show up in Multiplayers. Those special Bombers are in fact part of the army of heroes that fought against Burgular and the Dark Force Bombers eons ago in a spinoff game called Bomberman Wars.
Right after the credits end, but before the big "END" pops up, Planet Black shown to still be in one piece, the black hole that it is. Suddenly, four lights also escape from it. Have the Dark Force Bombers returned again, or is this a new threat for Bomberman? No one will ever know...

Thanks for watching my playthrough of Bomberman World's Normal Mode. Its Multiplayer/Battle Mode isn't as impressive as the version shown in Party Edition that I want to get to in the future, but I might still show it off, anyway.
In the meantime, whenever I come back to this game, I want to playthrough its special Challenge Mode!
