28This week, it's yet another game that before this week, not only had I never played ANY version of it, I had never even seen gameplay of the game, OR any references to the game. And yes, I'm sure, probably somewhere at some point over the last 30+ years, I probably saw a picture of it in a magazine, but I definitely don't remember it.
Anyway, that means experiencing the game this week was especially interesting, because it was with completely fresh eyes, and I had zero preconceived notions about it before the review.
So, did I really enjoy the game, to the point of awarding it "hidden gem" status? Or did I find a reason why it wasn't more popular? Or was it somewhere in between? Well, take a look to find out!
