Bonk III: Bonk's Big Adventure (TurboGrafx-CD) Round 1
17The third entry in the Bonk series, originally known as the PC-Genjin series in Japan and BC Kid in Europe. This one brought some more weirdness by adding a blue candy that makes you grow, and a pink/red candy that makes you shrink. There was a similar game on the SNES carrying over some elements from this game, such as those candies. This video is of the CD-ROM version of the game, which was also available on a TurboChip or HuCard as it is named in Japan, the TurboGrafx's equivalent of a cartridge. The advantage of the CD-ROM version is a soundtrack in audio CD quality compared to the regular version's soundtrack which is rendered by the hardware. CD-ROM versions of games at the time were often just audio upgrades or contained added videos and other minor features that took advantage of the bigger space on CDs.
