14This game is more famous for its introduction sequence than for its gameplay, that's saying something. It is a port of an arcade game for the Mega Drive, known as the Sega Genesis in America. A port also exists for the PC Engine, known as the TurboGrafx-16 in America. The Mega Drive port is probably the most known because the introduction sequence was translated in English for its European release (it was not released in America, just Japan and Europe) although the term Engrish would be more adequate here. The most popular phrase in the intro is "All your base are belong to us" which started an Internet phenomenon in the beginning of the years 2000. You've got to properly understand English to enjoy the intro and laugh your way through, but if you do, it's totally worth it.
