This will only work if you have a CPU that has more than one core. Garry's Mod, by default, only uses ONE core on your CPU. This tutorial allows Garry's Mod to use other cores on your CPU, thus giving you an FPS boost.

Please save me some time and actually read some of the stuff on that website... If you are experiencing crashes after doing the steps in the video, just simply REMOVE the files from your cfg folder, and "problem" solved. This will not work for everyone, but for anyone that has a CPU that has 2 cores, 4 cores, 8 cores, or 22 cores, this'll help.

Extra info: I have an FX-8320 CPU, and before doing this tutorial, I'd get 20-30 FPS on Zombie Survival in GMOD, now after doing this, I can pull off a good 40-70 FPS. Garry's Mod takes up a lot of CPU resources as is, and Zombie Survival is just a huge CPU-based gamemode, so getting that FPS on ZS is outstanding IMO.
