This is no walkthrough, but at least it might demonstrate a few things. I'm playing a Beastmaster, which helped me finish the fight at the end (my pet saved the day, yay). I found that leaving the psychos that join the fight alive will give you a way to revive when Fight For Your Life happens. Killavolt is immune to Shock, so don't bother with that at all. He is also Immune to everything when his globe shield is up. And avoid getting too far away from him because that seems to trigger his most annoying area attacks. I got lucky here. And I was level 16 which helped. I stuck with a sniper rifle and a corrosive rifle to whittle his health down, because I couldn't figure out how to work the missile launcher that just plunked buckets at his feet - my pet distracting him and getting in the way of his charge attack helped too. Every little bit helps.

I will say that the free for all battle through the city before reaching Killavolt was REALLY cool and fun. This is a side quest given to you by dear Moxxi.

As for the game, I still find the story and characters very meh, but the game does have come cool stuff interspersed about here and there. The graphics are top notch. The gun play is solid. Object and enemy animations are great. But some bosses are, as some reviews say, very annoying hit point sponges. You just have to figure out how to survive long enough (by avoiding their worst attacks, etc.) and have enough ammo to take them out. Make sure you're a good level for the quest. Killavolt is just rough - I think this quest is level 14 and even at level 16 he can kick my butt if I'm not playing at my best.
