That obscure side-scrolling chase has one annoying bug. If you land before the thrown knife hits the ground, you automatically take damage.
Here, the enemy throws it before taking its last bullet. As a result, I die while the screen is fading out.
Technically, I died during the chase, so I didn't need to press Start to get up, but the game registered it only during the cutscene. Since the gameplay is not involved, Start only sends a signal to skip the cutscene, which hasn't played long enough to allow skipping. As a result, the game softlocks.
