Alternis sure likes to talk. Using Special chains with all that talk, for the purpose of this video, is actually making the battle quite hard. If I was not recording, I might skip through dialog and put the game to fast forward to get more from Special Moves, but this was a challenge in itself with that.

To survive his Dark onslaught, I was running a mixed tactic of evasion tank Dark Shield wearing Tiz, and everyone else at Critical condition getting a Spiritmster Buff that Nullifies all elemental damage to ward against Alternis Dark AoE attack.

This will ward against any Dark attack and also take care of his normal attack. Tiz actually got a single hit from it once.. Which just shows that Evasion is tricky at best. I could have gone and use Utsusemi, though.

The main problem is Alternis Minus Strike attack. He only starts using it after loosing half his HP, but then it is guaranteed to hit (unless Utsusemi) and deal 9999 damage. It is only against a single character, though. I decided to not let it come to that and buff up first, then nuke the hell out of him.

This battle concludes chapter 4.
