Here's my hi-score run for BreakThru (ブレイクスルー), I was trying to max out the score but in the process learned that the score just rolls over after you hit 1 million points, which took about 9 loops of the game. This was played on a real NES with real cart.

It appears that later loops aren't really much harder at all, so if you can clear the game, you can pretty much play forever assuming you continuing grabbing the extra lives and don't die too much.

It does start to become difficult to stay focused the longer you play, and in this game it is very easy to take a hit. Thankfully, the extra lives come often enough with each 20K points and also the item drops in stage 4 (2 extra lives).

After I got the score rollover I decided to finish that loop and then stop playing.
