Full no death/no miss run of Crisis Force (クライシスフォース) on Hard Mode Difficulty for the NES/Famicom. I didn't take any damage at all in the run, so it's really a no damage run on top of no deaths! This was played using the real cart with a famicom adapter to run on the NES console.

So we have Crisis Force once again, but this time on the Hard setting. Basically with Hard you get a lot more bullets/projectiles from everything, especially the bosses. Several patterns become a lot more dangerous and nearly undodgeable without bombs or the barrier weapon.

Speaking of which, the barrier weapon becomes extremely valuable when playing on hard. Not only does it cancel lots of dangerous bullets/lasers/etc, but it slows the game down to a crawl at times, giving you more time to make your moves and dodge. In particular, the final stage becomes a lot more bearable if you can maintain a fully powered barrier weapon.

The hardest part about doing a no-death run on hard is the final form of the last boss, as the homing laser attacks are basically too fast for you to dodge. The barrier weapon is also pretty useless in blocking them so your only real chance is to come into the fight with enough bombs to outlast him. This can be a bit tricky because the stage 6 boss basically also requires bombs to deal with and the final stage has an assortment of difficult bosses.

I'm pretty sure I didn't actually take any damage at all in this run. I may have have been hit while in the invincible "super ship" form, but that doesn't actually take away any of your powerups so I'm not counting that as "taking damage".
