How long have you been working on Breakwaters?
Breakwaters started production around July 2019. It was a solo indie development project for about 14 months, after which four more people joined the team and formed Soaring Pixels Games; the developer and publisher of Breakwaters.
Why the name "Breakwaters"?
In the world/fiction, a Breakwater is a rare person who fights back against the monsters of this world (Titans, Golems, and humanoids) to help civilization. As you adventure across the world you earn the title of being a Breakwater.
