Breath of Fire 3 Part 20: We Can't Not Anger the King
2The King of Wyndia has been, like, the only adult in Breath of Fire 3 that didn't betray the squad or join it, but for some reason we just keep making him mad, I don't understand :') Nina tries to be smart and not bring Ryu, just Rei who has never been there before, but a guard can just SENSE that Rei is Ryu's friend because the guard once saw Rei and Ryu talk to the same person. Not at the same time, even, at different times. I really don't know how the guard made that leap in logic but it's a video game, we don't ask questions :')
After another daring escape that happens to unlock a form of fast long-distance travel (at long last, I'm so happy about that), we make our way back to Angel Tower, where the squad is confronted by what I assume is the ghost of a naked woman. Or the naked ghost of a clothed woman... I don't think clothes have ghosts so at least there's an explanation for that.
