Breath of Fire 3 Part 27: A New Ruin, a New Teleport Pad
1It's time to explore the continent on the other side of the ocean! We've hopped off the Black Ship and saw what little there was to see in Kombinat, so now it's time to pick up the Trance gene and get the homing Bomb weapon for Momo before heading off to try to find God, because video games always makes us do weird things :') Our first stop is in Steel Grave, which seems to exist only so we can grab a couple items (including the Spanner, the toughest fishing rod in the game), and then we're off to Colony, a place full of scary old codgers and unpredictable toxicmen that also has a teleport pad that needs to be turned on.
Clarification time! Turns out that there are three variations of toxicman. They all look the same as far as I can tell, but one version has high HP and low attack, one has high attack and low HP, and one is balanced in stats. That's why some were getting one-shot which others took awhile to take out!
