Breath of Fresh Fire #45 - Prelude to the Final Battle
1Breath of Fresh Fire is a mod by ludmeister for the GBA version of Breath of Fire 2. This mod changes a number of things such as rebalanced characters, expanded shaman fusing options, rebalanced spells, and so on. The difficulty is lightly boosted as well.

Time to end this finally!
Starting from the save point, feel free to refresh at the healing fountain, then go to the orb and stand on it to be warped to a giant room. All you need to know here is that you should first go southwest for a Sacred Helmet (Which was given to Nina as she needs defense the most), then go straight north from where you warped in to reach the room where the final boss resides.
After tossing that helmet Nina's way and showing everyone's final stats & equipment, they go forth to meet the final boss. Words are exchanged, Ryu's buddies gets crystalized, Ryu gets mad & runs up to said final boss to solo engage him.
Granted I probably could solo the final boss with Ryu if I had tons of Elixirs and had him with the Life Bracelet, but you're actually supposed to fire off Infinity/Anfini. This fires off a cutscene where Ryu's allies are brought back (And still mercifully in any fusion you might have had them in). Deathevn is not happy his party was crashed and decides it's fighting time.
