Bringing in Pulumi and AWS properly, part 3 | glowing-telegram project - Episode 130
In this video, I explore the intricacies of managing AWS infrastructure using Pulumi alongside Rust and React-Admin. We focus on optimizing our AWS resources, specifically dealing with S3 buckets and handling AWS batch operations. I demonstrate how to efficiently use Pulumi to exclude protected resources and destroy unnecessary ones. Additionally, we dive into leveraging Tokyo's asynchronous capabilities to properly handle concurrent tasks in Rust.
As we progress, I work through configuring resources such as DynamoDB tables and batch job definitions, while troubleshooting issues like deleting non-empty AWS repositories. Throughout the session, we refine our implementation to automatically process S3 objects, extracting audio and keyframes in parallel, using FFMPEG tools within a Rust context.
