In this video, I dive into deploying our Rust/TypeScript web application using AWS to create a serverless infrastructure. We explore infrastructure as code techniques, focusing on the AWS Batch and event-driven architecture using Pulumi. The goal is to set up a system that efficiently processes tasks by leveraging AWS's robust cloud services.

Throughout the session, I troubleshoot several hurdles such as IAM role permissions, multi-platform builds, and deployment issues. We discuss the challenges of managing compute environments and job queues. I also introduce methods to safeguard S3 bucket operations and discuss the concept of dead-letter queues for capturing failed operations.
