The British Army has borrowed French facilities to help train soldiers against future threats beyond 2020.

The complex in northeastern France has industrial, urban, and old town zones, allowing troops to experience warfare in different environments.

Friendly nations sharing resources is a result of the Lancaster House Anglo/French treaty on military cooperation. The treaty helps countries save money by pooling facilities and working together.
