This video works in Windows 10 too.

If you have a slightly older flat screen that doesn't have wireless capability, you don't have to run out and buy a new TV so you can stream from Amazon Prime, Netflix, etc.

Although more expensive, the Microsoft miracast dongle outperforms chromecast and appleplay. Simple to setup, the miracast adapter can workwith newer PCs, Apples and Chromebooks
If your laptop or tablet supports wireless displays, you can use it to connect to your TV by just buying a Microsoft Miracast Adapter. As long as your TV has a spare USB and HDMI port, you can plug the adapter into your TV and then connect it as a second screen without a cable. Some newer phones even support wireless external displays as well.

Check out your TV for ports and your laptop for specs, and go for it!
