OK, here's a new video to replace this one. It has another fix for Max Payne 1. You can go to my web site and download the 3 files to restore voice, music and decent sound to Max Payne.

Here's a test of Max Payne 1 running under Windows 10 Technical Preview. Under Windows 8, there were some earlier problems with older games. Almost all have been fixed, including the Max Payne series.

It appears that Window 10 has inherited the fixes and runs ok. But a reload of Max Payne on a clean install of Windows 10 final edition resulted in no sounds during cut scenes.

Here is a link to an article in the Steam forums. I used the first link in the article to download the patch. But be aware, this is an unknown site so make sure you have virus protection running. I have had no problem with my system after this. Max Payne runs perfectly with great sound throughout.

After you are done running the patch, you can remove the six files that were place there.
