Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars - Game Boy Advance (2002)
While this seems like an incredible idea, I think it was a few years too early. The controls DO work for the GBA, so while you can approach the game as a point-and-click, you don't have to. Possible field actions are able to be locked onto and cycled through, so you won't be pixel hunting on an already crowded GBA screen. I am surprised that pixel-squash didn't ruin the graphics, because that's usually a problem with ports, especially ones with bigger characters.
So it's a good looking, great sounding, and easy playing handheld adventure...that's good, right? Well, did you know of a bunch of friends that owned this? Exactly. It wasn't popular enough and the genre didn't have much appeal on the GBA. I think it would have worked better as a shop series on the DS.
