INTRODUCTION (From the manual):
Guide Bruce Lee to discover Immortality by beating the evil wizard and his minions. Bruce must explore the play area picking up lanterns, which will open up new areas for him to explore. The evil wizard's troops attack you in the form of The Green Yamo (fat guy) and The Ninja (little guy). However, Bruce can dispatch these by kicking or punching them (stand still and fire for punch, run and fire for kick).

Later screens get more complicated with killer bugs, swords, moving walls and mines to contend with!

Two players can play, either taking turns at being Bruce or with one playing controlling Yamo! Great fun!

REVIEW:
In this game you play with Bruce Lee, who has returned to the land of his forefathers to destroy an evil wizard. If you succeed you will be rewarded with a gigantic treasure and immortality.

At first the game seems pretty limited, because there is only three screens, but you have to find a secret entrance to the underground, which is done by collecting all the lanterns – then a secret door will open. At the beginning the main problem is the sumo named Yamo and the ninja, but when you enter the underground there is a lot of traps to avoid, and still Yamo and the ninja, they will chase you all through the game.

You can do a flying kick, a punch, duck and jump. Yamo and the ninja can do the same things except ducking. Bruce can survive getting hit three times before losing a life.

Compared to other platform games from this time, this one has a lot of extra features, because the game allows the player to compete against either the computer or other players. Besides the first option of playing against the computer a second option allows a friend to play with Yamo, and another option allows two players to take turns in playing with Bruce against the computer or against a third player as Yamo.

This game was made for most of the home computers on the market at the time and it became a big hit for all of them. I think everybody that has ever played this game will remember it. It is still very popular at present time, people compete in speedruns, and some remakes and sequels has also been made by fans.

It is a little short but for the time being that was normal, and it plays and controls very well. The A.I. of the enemies in the Spectrum version is pretty good, and all the two or three player modes is pretty amazing for such an old game. This version has been modded by GPG and features in game AY music.

The game was published by US Gold Ltd in 1984.
