Perfecting your building techniques? I wish I could perfect my relationship with my girlfriend. Look, you wanna be a good builder, well numba one, watch the video before this, you will see a link to it in the top right. In this video I'll be going over perfecting your technique and how you can make anything look good.

Numba woohn you gonna build a basic area, just like my last video you have to have an outline, build onto it, and add in some blocks as detail. But how do you know your detailing correctly? Well its just a feeling thing, if you like it then you like it; and if other people like it, they like it… You know potato, potato salad. Here ill get in it more after you look at my friend build the basic area for me.

Placement is a very serious thing to consider when you are building your map, like you should consider my proposal, please let's get married please think about it… PLEASE. Look if I placed this forest up front and players had to go through it when they entered, that would be annoying. But since I placed it up here they don't really have to worry about it. I also placed a pathway through the little forest so it's easier for them to get by.

Making cool designs that look different and fit in are ket to your map being successful, like check it out… This was just going to be a lava pool, and then I had an idea. I fixed it up and now it looks really good.

One of the most important things about building is perfecting your style of building and running with it. Everyone's style of building is different, and they are all good in their own ways. You might think you're not as good as those people who can get on lists for having good buildings but the thing is is that those people don't know how to make basic buildings look good, they only know how to make oversimplified detailed things, and only in certain ways. They specialize in 1 or 2 things instead of everything. Ive been in a server where I was asked to make a jungle area and I did, and it looked fucking amazing. Then a detailed builder was asked to make a waterfall, and it literally looked like a newcomer came on, placed random blocks down, and called it a day. (whisper) you know who you are, don't @ me.

The meaning of this is that you have your own special building style, and instead of trying to learn other peoples styles and going off of it, you should learn from their styles but tone and stick with your own. I see too many maps with so many different builds that it just doesn't make sense.
