Building a Nether Base With Wood. Nothing is Going Wrong. | JHIDA SMP S1 Ep13
J50C had the brilliant idea of building the JHIDA SMP nether base out of wood, styled like a colonial town. Why did he think this would be a good idea? Does he remember what happened to the pilgrims? He enlists MadGaming (AKA Aosome) and Mastersur2 to help him in this endeavor, but hijinks, furnace minecarts, and a horde of zombie piglins get in the way of accomplishing their goal. In this installment of the JHIDA SMP, watch as the gang builds, battles, and improvises a base made out of wood planks and logs in a world known for its lava lakes and eternal fires over the course of three days--consolidated into 10 action filled minutes for your viewing enjoyment. Godspeed and may Earth reign supreme.
Furnace minecarts are a pretty big part of this video. They're so annoying. It's like mojang forgot about them or something because they are so hard to use and don't even do the things you'd expect them to do. Like, what?? We eventually figure out how to use the furnace minecarts, which is a plus, but it did take a while. If you're looking into how to use furnace minecarts, this could be a good guide for how to use a furnace minecart, or this could act as a cautionary tale for what could happen if you try to use a furnace minecart in your build. Just make a gold farm and use powered rails. Everyone else does it, and it appears to be much more intuitive and effective than furnace minecarts.
Music: Dusk 'till Dawn by @TrackTribe, Imperial Forces by @contactkennya, Droopy Likes Your Face by C418, Hey There by @halfcoolmusic, Hold on a Minute by @silent-partner (aka the William Osman shop song), and Icelandic Arpeggios by @DivKid. The more music I can put in a video, the better.
The builds in this video are original, except for the storage tent, which is a copy of the starter tent we made in episode 1. That tent was heavily inspired by @GoodTimesWithScar's Hermitcraft season 7 secret base tent.
The JHIDA SMP is a whitelisted Hermitcraft knockoff, with the JHIDA gang hanging out and building things. Yeah that's pretty much all we do this season.
