Q) Did you get paid to make this video?
A) No, the parts in this system were provided by various companies including Puget Systems but I received no financial incentive to make this video and do not profit from any sales generated through links in this video. I truly love Puget Systems and the way they do business and despite being approached by other PC builders offering financial incentives I've stuck with them because my integrity is NOT FOR SALE and no other PC builder is as involved with the customer as they are IMHO.
Q) Where is William PC going? (My old PC)
A) William has been an amazing PC and will continue to drive a 4th monitor above my center 50" using Synergy to share the keyboard and mouse. The system will act as a streaming and encoding machine and VM host that integrates flawlessly with my new PC. It will also be connected directly via 10GB ethernet to share storage.
Q) What is it like living in your mom's basement?
A) It's quite comfortable I assure you.
Q) Did you take the Titan Xp's from William for the new build?
A) Yes, since Titan Xp's are still the fastest non-workstation cards on the planet we decided to move them over to the new machine and demote William to pleb GeForce 970's since he only has to drive a single 2k screen now.
Q) Why don't you build your own PC?
A) I've build many PC's in my lifetime and know the trouble shooting involved with making a system work flawlessly. Puget Systems takes the guess work out and does extensive R&D with all the component companies to ensure perfect compatibility, correct tweaks and settings to ensure every PC they build runs like a swiss watch. The PC in this video even has a custom power profile they created just to stabilize Adobe Premiere CC latest version on the new X299 platform pending a BIOS update from Gigabyte. They are super dedicated and if you watch my 'William PC' build video you will see what makes them so special.
