I finally picked up the book for both of them last weekend at Griffcon so it's time to get prepping for some games soon! I created my very own Captain Pike using the help of today's sponsor @eldritchfoundry1475 and I already came up with a pretty cool backstory as I went along the process of picking out the elements to make him up!

Here's how and why I prime the way I do!
Two different rattle/spray cans are used-one full solid coat of Chaos Black, and a lighter coat of Grey Seer sprayed from above to add light/dark areas. The lighter coating of grey seer adds a small amount of grit(too small for the eye to see) from above to give the contrast paint a better surface to cling too. Contrast paints don’t work well on black primers, the colours won’t show up well.
