Alright so I got this because it was only $1.89 USD from banggood.com..
It operates on 7.023 MHz and in later off camera testing I found out it will also operate down on 3 MHz (Colorbust crystal / 80 meters), on 10 MHz (Crystals from and OLD 23 channel CB radio), 16 MHz (Motorola Radius P10 crystals) and actually on 27 MHz (Crystal from a radio shack CB walkie talkie).

I assume all of these kits are versatile like this and can operate on a wide range..
I do have more crystals, some which are as low as 530 KHz that I may try out at a later date

This kit uses the LM386 audio amplifier for the headphone output
