This was one of my programming projects lately :P I don´t take credit for the actual game, but for the programming, language versions and solving strategy.

It goes as follows:
Enter a 4-digited number. The program will tell you how close it was towards the solution (which is generated randomly). You have to take the information and do better guesses every time until you found all 4 digits to be entered to win. Only 10 tries are allowed!
