Continuing our trip to Busch Gardens Oakland, we climb into the cold, mystical, and unforgiving peaks of the Himalayas. Stroll through Sagarmatha Base Camp among the climbing equipment and Buddhist prayer flags until your get to the real reason you came here: the park's Intamin juggernaut Yeti. This hypercoaster is guaranteed to put the deep freeze on the faces of park guests as Yeti drops its victims 203 feet into an icy chasm, drags them back into the hills at the back of the park for a section of terrain-hugging mayhem, and slam dunks them under its own ice cave-themed station. It's a small section of the park, but it's one of the original two that it opened with in 1978. But this corner of the park's past is about to set the stage for its future, as teaser images have popped up in front of Super Himalaya.
