Metal Gear Solid 3 is a tactical espionage action game where the objective is to sneak into the enemies base while remaining undetected. While this is the third game in the Metal Gear Solid series, it is actually placed first in the timeline so that it takes place far before the events of the original Metal Gear Solid. The gameplay involves you playing as Naked Snake surviving within the Russian Jungle trying to rescue Sokolov and discover the project that he is developing against his will. Stealth and camoflague are essential skills required to sneak through the game. Brute force approaches are often punished.

Theater 8 is recorded in OBS Studio using either the Elgato HD or the Elgato HD Pro. The silhouettes are recorded using a Logitech 920c web camera. All games are captured from the original game console with the exception of NES games captured with the AVS game system made by RetroUSB. Audio was recorded with a Rode Procaster and Shure SM48. All recordings were not held in front of a live studio audience.

#SPOILERS BELOW - Metal Gear Solid 3 HD Gameplay Notes#
Let's play Metal Gear Solid 3 HD! The episode begins as Snake is being launched by drone into Russia to begin Operation Snake Eater. When the Boss defected, it caused an international incident which caused great instability in Russia and has caused Khrushchev to demand that President Johnson send in a team to destroy the Shagohad, bring the Boss to justice, and kill Colonel Volgin as an added bonus.

After landing, Snake shoots a reticulated python and asks Paramedic how tasty it is. Snake then runs into The Boss who destroys his drone in a firey explosion which alerts nearby soldiers of Snake's presence. Snake actually manages to stealthily get back to the location he rescued Sokolov which is the same area he is supposed to meet Adam, an ex-CIA code breaker who defected to Russia but is actually a spy. Along the way, Snake picks up the Raindrop Camo.
