Calculator app launches on Nintendo Switch eShop
The Nintendo Switch eShop is launching a calculator app.
The new application is going on sale for £8.09 - but it's not been made by Nintendo and is one of few non-gaming apps available on the eShop.
A description of the product reads: "A scientific calculator with a clear easy-to-read multi-line display, which should help with those not-so-easy-to-do maths problems.
"Calculator has an appealing modern and practical design, sure to be popular with all students and engineers."
The Nintendo Switch console first launched in 2017 and has proven to be a major hit with gamers over the years.
In 2020, the popularity of the console helped drive the tech giant towards its best ever operating profit.
The gaming firm - which has now sold more than 85 million consoles and 587 million games - also achieved its second-best year in terms of revenue, at $16.6 billion.
The firm recorded $6 billion in operating profit, although they expect a decline for the current financial year.
