Crossplay accidentally enabled for some players on Destiny 2
Crossplay has accidentally been enabled early for some players on Destiny 2.
Developer Bungie first announced crossplay for the game back in December last year, stating that it would be coming in fall 2021 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, PC and Google Stadia.
However, several gamers have reported that they have been able to play with players on different platforms.
Bungie community manager, Cozmo, then confirmed this error had occurred when he replied to a user on Twitter who asked for crossplay confirmation.
He wrote: “We are seeing reports that some players are able to get a sneak peek at Crossplay.
“This isn't meant to be live yet and is not representative of the full experience. We will be implementing a fix to remove public access later this week, but in the meantime feel free to partake.”
