Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 walkthrough part 15- Odysseus
0Admiral Briggs and the Secretary of Defense converse that China pledges their support, Briggs says that SDC is finished and China and America working together is the beginning of a new era. Menendez is brought back to the Obama and Briggs tells them to take him to the interrogation room, where he says he will only speak to David Mason, Briggs tells him to do what he can. Menendez tells David that his father and his people took his sister from him and his life's history, The Obama then comes under attack by Menendez's followers. Section orders Salazar to secure Menendez and informs a soldier the Obama is under attack before the soldier is killed by Menendez who somehow broke free and is holding Salazar hostage, He orders Mason to drop his gun and put the handcuffs on. Which he does before getting knocked out, he wakes up Salazar tells him that Menendez escaped. Then Section arms himself as Salazar points out that Menendez couldn't have done this without inside help. But all Section is worried about right now is regaining control of the Obama, then orders Salazar to get to the server room and secure Briggs, which he does, Section then supports the Obama soldiers fight off the attack by Menendez's forces and their own turrets which they hacked. He supports some SEALS with a sniper rifle before continuing his fight to the sever room. He gets to a monitor room where he orders his men to find Briggs and Menendez, who is right outside the server room and orders a team to cut through a vent in their room, and tries to warn Briggs to no avail.
Menendez's POV: Menendez and DeFalco enter the server room and Menendez takes Briggs hostage and orders the soldiers to back off. They reluctantly do so, Briggs orders Salazar to shoot through him and kill Menendez, but Salazar is revealed to be Menendez's inside man, he kills the 2 soldiers in front of him, DeFalco tries to kill Chloe but is killed by Farid, who is in turn killed by Salazar. Briggs is angered by Salazar's betrayal, who says he'll surrender when it's done, but Briggs would rather see him die than surrender, Salazar doesn't blame him and requests Menendez only wound Briggs, which Menendez does by shooting him in the knee. Telling him that if they succeed, Briggs will understand why they didn't kill him. Menendez uploads a virus into the Obama's system in a chip hidden in his false eye then escapes in one of the fighter jets.
Back to Section's POV: Section witnesses Salazar's betrayal and moves through the airvents, informing the crew that Salazar is working with Menendez, he enters the server room and orders his men to check the wounded. Then discovers that Menendez uploaded a virus into Chloe's Celerium worm in order to execute a drone attack. Chloe begins trying to fix it. Briggs tells Section to be careful and Section orders his men to take Briggs to the sick bay. Minutes later Section is contacted by SEALS who tell him that Salazar surrendered without incident. He confronts Salazar for his betrayal and Salazar replies "Today is a difficult day Section, but tommorrow we all win." Section orders him taken to the holding cells. He and the other crew memebers fight their way to the top, Section activates a CLAW unit to help clear a path to a VTOL piloted by Crosby, he fights his way there and then Crosby takes off and is shot in the arm by a merc, who Section shoots and kicks out of the craft. They fly off as the drones damage the Obama, suddenly Drones sent by the Chinese come to support the Obama.
