After spending a couple of days in Garbage at the Flea Market, I was farming supplies to place in my secret stash atop the eastern garbage pile. My relations with both Duty and Freedom were hostile, meaning going to Rostok was out of the question. With Factions relations ever changing, you really don't want to attack and enemy's main base and reduce or wipe out all their forces. If they become your ally, you've weakened them too much from their other enemies or mutant attacks. For that reason, Call of the Zone makes you rethink how you would normally deal with the various Factions.

I recently got notification of a truce between the Loners and Military. This was a new dynamic for me as I've never been neutral to them. Now with good weather, I decided I would take my Companions to the Agroprom for the first time, and I would go straight to the Military Base. There I would get to use the Repair Tech, see the unique inventory of the Military Trader and talk to the Leader and take possible jobs from all of them. I spent time looting all known and activated stashes and engaged enemies and mutants just outside the base.

There was a job to deal with some Monolith at the small swampy area in the north-west corner. I took all my Companions with me plus a three-man squad of Military from the base. I misunderstood that the target location as shown on my PDA was to meet another Military squad and then attack the Monolith. As shown at the end of this video, I accidently attacked the Military I was supposed to meet, getting the friendly fire message. Once I realized my mistake, having never done a mission like this before in Call of the Zone, I redo the events in the upcoming videos.
