Call Of The Zone - Bandito #814: The Borya And The Black Cloud
This video starts where the last one left off, atop the Cement Plant Tower, surrounded by the fog of Jupiter. To the north, across the lake, where the bridge went to Zaton, mutants were headed my way that I could not identify yet. As they got closer through the fog, I realized they were Snorks by their movements. I shot those of course. Then I saw a Borya, which is the correct name for what I had been calling a Swamp Snork. If you kill and skin one, you get a Snork part, but they look and act nothing like a Snork. They have the movement of a gorilla and can cause a lot of damage if they attack you but are easy to kill than Snorks. I decide to leave the Borya alone and just watch what it does. It seems concerned with the dead Snork it keeps going back to.
There are a lot of Boars to the south and southwest, around the road and ravine nearby. There are so many to kill I am getting good target practice. When I descend from the Cement Plant Tower, I am attacked by a Cat. I really try to avoid killing any of them because for the most part they will leave you alone and they are easy to avoid. This Cat caught me at the bottom of the stairs, and I only killed it after it attacked me. As I ventured back towards Yanov, just a little of the road, I saw a Black Cloud ahead. The Black Cloud was one of the most dangerous phenomena in the Zone. Just having one touch you can bring instant death. They are hard to kil las they have no head to target and most of all shooting at one can easily crash your Game. For all those reasons I avoided it and went around behind its path of travel.
I returned to the Yanov Station Tower, where I could study the Black Cloud from the safety of the top floor. I've never seen a Black Cloud go any higher than just hovering above the ground. Soon the fog cleared and the visibility got so much better I could see and kill mutants from a great distance. Soon I was back inside Yanov Station, getting repairs and looking for jobs. My Companions were enjoying getting a break from all the travel and catching up on their sleep.
