After learning about BAE Systems searching for innovative ways to move some 100+ used 146's in it portfolio, Explorer One was an interesting concept. It was to allow the 146 operate in bush regions with unprepared runways. Now that sounds like a challenge. The 146 needs about 3000ft of runway length in order to take off so I have chose a route that will allow us to test the limits and capabilities of the newly updated V2 of the 146 by Just Flight.

We depart Alaska's Merle K. Smith Airport PACV and fly over the glaciers to our first stop at Chisana CZN. This airfield has a grass strip that runs between a forest. Sounds perfectly safe. For our next leg we head out over to Canada and land at Haines Junction Airstrip CYHT. This one being a gravel runway. Can we fly the 146 like a bush plane? Lets find out!
