At 5:15-10:00 I give my closing thoughts and helpful tips and tricks.
Overall the 960m GPU performs very well. its the most capable GPU I have ever owned on a laptop. The overall design of the dell xps 13 and 15 really surprised me. Its a thin ultrabook yet it also packs a punch. And in the 15" it has the dedicated graphics card for gaming and other GPU accelerated tasks. I would upgrade to the option that allows us to have a 980m if it was possible.
Indie games still have trouble running on this laptop. Its not DELLs fault its the indie game makers they did not optimize there software to run on modern 960m architecture. Rust, Ark Survival Evolved and other indie games have trouble running on this hardware. They can run on medium but at 1080p resolution its actually pretty hard to stay above 30 fps.
Tower Defense Games like League of legends, Heroes of the storm and SMITE all run very well. Games like Diablo III, Starcraft and other Real time strategy games will run good.
I didn't include a lot of other games but if you want a longer video with those games vote up one of my comments that will get me to do part 2 where I test all your favorite games.
Minecraft ran at 4k res with 12 chunks fairly good but if you up the chunks you will drop to 20 fps.
