Notes:
Concept album, about a man who falls asleep under an oak tree and dreams about the journey of life.
"Under the Oak" is a re-recording of a song that originally appeared on "Epicus Doomicus Metallicus" (and also the "Tales of Creation" demo).
Leif Edling originally wanted another Thomas Cole painting for the cover, but his bandmates "talked him out of it". A modified Gustave Doré work called 'The Creation of Light' was used instead.
"Into the Unfathomed Tower" is divided into 7 parts:
I. Dance of the Fay
II. Magic / Entering the Tower
III. Dance of the Fay (Reprise)
IV. Soul's Flight
V. Towards the Unknown
VI. Choir of Angels
VII. Outside the Gates of Heaven
