Up to 4 four players can play only one game, playing in turns. The controls feature a trackball, which is used to control both direction and power, plus there are 2 buttons for the controls, right, left, turn and hook.

The game was released in 2 types of cabinets, one in the classic upright position and the last as a cocktail version. Most vertical cabinets are existing cabinet conversion kits, although a limited number of vertical cabinets have been produced. These cabinets feature a multi-layered, birch-like finish that resembles a bowling alley, a larger marble trackball that mimics a bowling ball, and painted side designs.
