Capcom Fighting Collection 2 Fight Night
Let’s all get in a fight! Two!
Upon the release of Capcom Fighting Collection 2, BEAT, fanboymaster, and myself (Goggle Bob!) all decided to fight our way through the various sicko games available. Before BEAT even arrives, we’ve got Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein, featuring 100% not a wookie and Voldo with yoyos. Then we move on to “beloved by dozens” Capcom Fighting Evolution. Then we get BEAT for Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001, where friendships are destroyed by Rock Howard. Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper then gives us Sodom and the up arrow, while Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 Pro gets us all into the groove of never addressing Etrian Odyssey. After Project Justice giving us some world-weary teachers, we play the most laggy game of Power Stone 2 in the history of dropped frames. This leads to a quick circuit of repeated games: Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein, Capcom Fighting Evolution, and Project Justice for the finale. Who won the most games? Was anyone paying any attention? Who knows!? Certainly not our audience of Morning Song, Ample Vigour, Chromes, Trynant, Jeanie, Caithness, and Caliscrub. Come for the dinosaur-dragon, stay for the brief discussion of why Shermie is indifferent to learning!
