what's up guys today we're gonna be going through the Arcade mode of Capcom vs SNK 2 for the sega dreamcast with Terry, Kyo & Rock.

-About Capcom vs SNK 2-

Capcom vs. SNK 2 combines characters and gameplay elements from various Capcom and SNK fighting games, mainly the Street Fighter and The King of Fighters series. Other elements, most noticeably different fighting styles, incorporated elements from other games as well, such as Street Fighter III, Garou: Mark of the Wolves, and the Samurai Shodown series.

-About Each character-

-Kyo-

Kyo Kusanagi (Japanese: 草薙 京, Hepburn: Kusanagi Kyō) is a fictional character in SNK's The King of Fighters series of fighting games. The character was first introduced in the 1994 video game The King of Fighters '94 as the leader of the Japanese team from the series' title tournament. Kyo, heir to the Kusanagi clan, is first introduced as a cocky, delinquent high-school student who has pyrokinetic powers. His clan is one of three who banished the legendary snake entity Yamata no Orochi. During the series' story, Kyo meets rivals and enemies who seek to take his flame abilities. Aside from the main series, Kyo appears in several crossovers and spinoffs with other games. He is also the central title character of the manga The King of Fighters: Kyo and video game adaptation with the same name which center around his daily life.

Terry Bogard (Japanese: テリー・ボガード, Hepburn: Terī Bogādo) is a video game character created by SNK who is the protagonist of the Fatal Fury series. Introduced in Fatal Fury: King of Fighters, he is an American fighter who enters the worldwide tournaments called "The King of Fighters" to kill Geese Howard, a criminal who killed his father, Jeff Bogard. Following Geese's death during a fight, Terry decides to become the guardian of Geese's son Rock Howard. He is also a regular character in the crossover video game series The King of Fighters, where he continues participating in tournaments. He has also been a guest character in multiple games, including the Capcom vs. SNK series and Nintendo's crossover fighting game Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. In addition to video games, Terry has appeared in anime films based on his adventures from the Fatal Fury series, as well as soundtracks and manga serialized in Japanese monthly manga magazine Comic Bom Bom.

-Rock-

Rock Howard (Japanese: ロック・ハワード, Hepburn: Rokku Hawādo) is a video game character appearing in various games from SNK. Rock makes his first appearance as a playable character in the fighting game Garou: Mark of the Wolves, the last chapter in the Fatal Fury series, as the new lead character from the series. Rock appears in the series as the son of Geese Howard, the main antagonist from the previous Fatal Fury games, who was killed by Terry Bogard. However, Terry started to take care of Rock to the point he teaches him to fight. Besides his appearance in Mark of the Wolves, Rock is featured in few games from The King of Fighters series as well as various crossovers from SNK. He was voiced by Eiji Takemoto (竹本 英史) since debut until Maximum Impact Regulation A, later voiced by Yuuma Uchida (内田雄馬). In the English edition of KOF: Maximum Impact he is voiced by Jon Thomas, and by Mike Lane in its sequel.
