Car Mechanic Manager (Switch) - Quick Look
0I was looking for an economic-type simulator game for the Nintendo Switch. I grabbed this title for around a $1.50 and that may be the correct price for it. It definitely feels like a mobile port. Unfortunately, they did not implement any touch controls which is a shame because the controls in this game are something you'll struggle with. You'll be pressing the d-pad and the analog stick trying to move between structures and jobs. Sometimes it'll work, sometimes it will not, but it'll always feel like it's not working like it should.
Another con is that it has all the mobile game mechanics you expect. Leveling up is a tedious affair. You need 300 stars to level up, but each job gets you only 2 or, if you lucky and get a VIP client, 4 stars. So that's 150ish times you're going to struggle with the controls to move a car from a workshop to another workshop, apply for new jobs, etc...
I wanted to like this game...but it really really really needs better controls.
ps...the tutorial broke on me multiple times because the controls stopped working. I highly suggest canceling out of the tutorial the first chance you get.
