In this video i'm trying to cast a YOUTUBE PLAYBUTTON from MOLTEN LAVA STONES, also known as OBSIDIAN.

The molten stones are very difficult to pour because it's a very thick substance which solidifies almost instantly after pouring in to the mold. I was planning on pressing the molten lava in to shape with the top mold, but the lava was allready solidified to much to be pressed in to shape.

I did get lucky and manged to copy the playbutton sign in to the cast ! :)

Note : These temperatures are wrecking my furnace as you can see in the video, but i have ordered some spare parts to refurbish it from time to time.

If you have any other ideas what i can do with the LAVA or OBSIDIAN just let me know in the comments below, and maybe i will make it happen !
