Castle of Illusion: Full Practice Playthrough
Completely random, I decided to capture yet another game that I first met on the Sega Channel. This game is really cute.
This is really brief, though, since it's in Practice Mode. Playing the game on this mode reduces the number of enemies and shortens all 3 levels by a huge chunk. The items are more common, too.
Outside of Practice, there are more areas to get through and a boss to beat before Mickey can reach the gem so the level can end.
After you jump, you press either "Down" or "Jump" again, and Mickey will turn the enemies into dust by butt-stomping them. Well that's a cute way to kill mooks.
TRIVIA: This is one of the notable Sega Genesis/Mega Drive games that appeared before the first Sonic game (1990 compared to Sonic 1's 1991). One of its artists is Takeshi Thomas Yuda, who later on created Knuckles and much later on, Sonic Riders.
