In total there are 5 Golden Obelisks in Heliopolis & you have to read the text inscribed on all of them. The obelisk locations are as follows:

#1 (0:00): From Urbain's tent in Bedouin Outpost go to the right (if facing the water) & you'll very quickly see the obelisk near the ocean.

#2 (0:23): In South Desert run toward South Beach (where the Sun Shrine is) & the obelisk will be on a narrow strip of land jutting out into the water.

#3 (0:54): Near the entrance to South Desert from Heliopolis Point is an area with 3 posts that have red, circular things at the top. You have to hit all of the circular things so that they are all spinning at the same time. You aren't fast enough to do this if you run at your regular speed so get a running boost from the nearby Atun Sun Disc. Once you're make the tops of all 3 posts spin at the same time a nearby platform will start moving. Use it to reach the obelisk.

Note: Near this obelisk is a chest. I recommend opening it as inside it is the Obelisk Gate Key which opens up the shortcut gate that leads to the Great Obelisk & Heliopolis Point.

#4 (2:02): This obelisk is found in Heliopolis Point, very close to the Squirt ranch. You have to jump up a few rock "steps" in order to reach it.

#5 (2:35): This obelisk is found in the Cursed Palace area of Heliopolis. Specifically it's up near the large boulder on top of the wooden structure that you would have passed by when riding the Mummy Eagle to get passed the Eyes of Ra at the beginning of the game.

After reading all 5 Ancient Texts head back to Urbain the Archeologist to tell him what you've found.
