"Catwoman" for Game Boy Color is a side-scrolling action platformer released in 1999, developed by Kemco and published by Ubisoft. Featuring the iconic DC Comics character Catwoman, the plot revolves around the pursuit of an ancient crystal skull. Râ's Al Ghûl, the villainous mastermind, sends his daughter Talia to enlist Catwoman for the heist. Unaware of the skull's true potential and her father's intentions, Catwoman decides to snatch it for herself. Yet, she soon finds herself in a struggle for control of the artifact.

Players control Catwoman as she navigates through various levels filled with enemies, traps, and obstacles. There are nine stages encompassing typical settings like forests, rooftops, and sewers.
Catwoman's agility and acrobatic skills are central to the gameplay, allowing her to jump, climb, and perform combat moves to defeat enemies. Later in the game, the player event gets a mechanical cat suit for combat. Having so many different moves mapped to two buttons only can make controlling difficult, but some moves aren't used very often.

The game also includes boss battles, where players must use their skills to defeat powerful adversaries. Visually, the game features colorful pixel art and simple animations. The game's levels are diverse, ranging from urban environments to industrial complexes. Catwoman and her enemies are a bit small and blurry, which makes them blend into some environments, causing some problems to identify them during action.

Overall, "Catwoman" offers an enjoyable platforming experience with elements of action and exploration, all wrapped up in the iconic world of DC Comics. There are plenty of cutscenes telling the plot of the game as it progresses, making it connected to the comics its based on. The game would have been a lot better with more distintive graphics and simpler controls, but it's still an enjoyable adventure starring Catwoman.
