"Bart Simpson's Escape from Camp Deadly" for the Game Boy is a platform video game released in 1991, based on the popular animated television series "The Simpsons." Developed by Imagineering and published by Acclaim Entertainment, the game follows Bart Simpson as he attempts to escape from a deadly summer camp.

The game thrusts Bart and Lisa into a survivalist scenario, pitting them against Ironfist Burns and his legion of clones. The first stage takes place in a forest, next is the mess hall, and then back to the forest again, and the cycle repeats. The controls are unfortuntely slow and sluggish, which makes the game harder than it should be. But every so often, Lisa shows up and gives you a costume to put on which helps you for a little while until it disappears.

As players traverse through the stages, they'll navigate repetitive obstacles and battle the same enemies without any meaningful increase in difficulty as it progresses. The mess hall has a food fight which sounds fun, but this also devolves into a mundane side-scrolling segment with minimal engagement. After this, it's back to the forest again.

Overall, "Bart Simpson's Escape from Camp Deadly" provides a monotonous platformer with little to no connection to the source material. It has with slugglish controls, primitive graphics and has a general feeling of having a rushed development with its clone enemies and repetive cycle of stages and gameplay.
