Lofi Ping Pong is a rhythm-based ping pong (table tennis) game. Like a lot of rhythm-based games, LFPP starts out fairly simple... but definitely becomes a lot harder later on. ^.^;
I actually purchased LFPP during its launch discount, played through it almost immediately, and despite some difficulties on a couple of the levels, definitely enjoyed the experience. ^^
Anyway... several months later (near Halloween!), LFPP actually received a notable content update, adding one new gameplay mode (Triple) to Free Play, as well as some new songs. =) Unfortunately, I somehow missed the announcement, and didn't actually discover this until, uh, earlier this year. ^^;;
"Triple" appears only in Free Play (it doesn't appear in Story Mode). It's kind of similar to the "Wind" mode, in that every so often, the mode-name action will occur. In the case of Wind, a wind will blow the ball to one side or the other... and in the case of Triple, three balls will be sent back to you... but only one of them is the real ball (going with the Halloween theme, I suppose the other two are apparitions or illusions or something)!
Anyway, when I finally got around to trying the new mode (earlier this year), I actually liked it a lot. So... more recently, when I was thinking about what to record for this video... LFPP came to mind... and going with the "Triple" theme, I decided to record three songs. =)

...deja vu? Deja vu! ^_^
Still, it's been... quite a journey, hasn't it?
When I first discovered CotND, it was partly (mostly?) due to Phedran (hi, Phedran! ^^), and the game definitely looked like fun, and definitely had some great music... so, way back in September of 2014, when the (Early Access) game and soundtrack got discounted on Steam... I picked up both. =)
I never would've imagined I'd still be recording and posting NecroDancer videos after 7 years... and certainly would never have imagined recording over 100 videos with a character that hadn't even been designed yet. ^^;
Yet here we are. 365 CotND videos, and counting... =)
Anyway, once again, since from my perspective, I'm basically just posting videos of games that I enjoy... it's always nice to see that some of you seem to be enjoying them as well. So once again, thanks to all of you, whether you've been here for a while, or only recently discovered this channel... and I hope to see you at the next milestone, whatever and whenever it might be! ^_^
