Welcome back to today's CDP, and this time I'm featuring a niche concept: how can we best abuse the effect of Machina Ruinforce. This Level 10 DARK Machine can be Special Summoned from the GY at the small cost of banishing Machines whose total Levels equal 12 or more, and there's no once-per-turn restriction on that. In short, I thought: If we can fill the GY with as many Level 12 Machines as possible, you'd be able to continuously summon Ruinforce, making things like Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Gustav Max a really fun option to loop. Combine that with Ruinforce's effect to punish the opponent for activating a card or effect during the Battle Phase, and you have the perfect recipe for a gimmicky deck. Looking at the list of Level 12 Machines, we have T.G. Halberd Cannon/Assault Mode, the Meklords, and then the Drytron Ritual Monsters... All of these options share one major characteristic: they can't be Normal Summoned/Set, so let's bring in our main boys, Reasoning and Monster Gate. You see, both of these cards will let you near-endlessly mill cards to the GY, as long as you have at least 1 monster that can be Normal Summoned in your Deck. That's also easy to achieve with Machina Fortress and Machine Unclaspare, two cards you'd want to run anyways in this sort of deck which needs Ruinforce in the GY and bricky Machines out of the hand. And while these two cards are Limited, Left Arm Offering makes either Spell a heartbeat away!

Alright, now we have a plan for mass milling Machines, but what if that would be stopped by a smart opponent? Well a good back-up plan would be to use all these Machines to fuel Drytron Ritual Summons! With a few copies of Drytron Fafnir, Drytron Nu2, and a Meteonis Drytron, anything is possible! From there, the deck sort of built itself, aiming to combo big and go hard and fast at the opponent. Now you may be asking yourself: what about if you can't muster enough Ruinforce summons to win a duel outright? Well, my favorite combo in this deck that happens to work well is to summon Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess, then plop a Number 35: Ravenous Tarantula next to it. Ravenous will increase the ATK of all monsters you control by the delta between you and your opponent's LP, giving Apollousa near infinite monster effect negations. At the end of the day, this may just be a fun deck, but it's sure to put a smile on someone's face when it all comes together!
